More weather chaos: more ways to score points, they can fix their stuff easily. Worse crop yields: higher prices work to their benefit. Higher insurance prices: not something they care about.
Changes due to seasons are an annual cycle. Climate is more about the longer-term (decades) weather patterns of a place, including the range of its typical seasonal differences. They aren't comparable the way that you're trying to say that they are.

Tend to agree. Been through so many spring summer fall winter changes that I've just grown to accept that the climate changes. It's not a big deal.
