Ask HN: What is going on with Google Chromecast?
Ours stopped working yesterday out of the blue (we couldn't stream to it). I thought it was broken. Tried a factory reset, and following all instructions on Google Home, all to no avail.
Checked out Reddit and it turns out lots of folks are experiencing the exact same issue across the world. It all started a couple days ago.
Anyone have any idea what's up?
It's an expired intermediate certificate in the chain of the device certificate.
